WE ARE THE PIONEER VALLEY RIVERFRONT CLUB

The Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club (PVRC) is a rowing facility in the North End of Springfield with the mission to promote river-based sporting activities, to develop river access, and encourage recreation in the Greater Springfield metropolitan area. PVRC will serve as point of access to the river for human powered craft, located within easy walking and bike-riding distance of downtown Springfield. PVRC Rowing Revival

Rowing on the Connecticut River
PVRC offers programs for youth, and adults age 12-99. The primary programs we offer are adult sculling, high school age competitive rowing and learn to row lessons. We also host a unique program oriented towards teen parents. Our rowing efforts focus on instruction, physical fitness, education and stewardship of the Connecticut River. The PVRC programs incorporate a 'cooperative flavor' as experienced rowers provide mentorship and guidance to the less experienced.

The PVRC boathouse is located at North Riverfront Park 121 West St., Springfield, MA (formerly Bassett Boat Company), situated next to the North End Bridge the site offers access to the Bike Path. Click here for directions.
